Cape May - New Jersey

One of our all-time favorite vacation spots is the quiet little town of Cape May, New Jersey. The girls love the beach and the shops. I personally prefer the stately Victorian homes and all the natural beauty that surrounds the town. I was up early before anyone else in the house and went for a long walk with my trusty camera to capture all my photos before the streets were filled with tourists and beach goers. So much nicer to get photos without all the nameless faces that I need to edit out later. Lol. The lighthouse captured my attention this trip and I must have taken over 100 photos in just that area alone. I was also able to get shots of the sun at each stage of its descent over Sunset Beach. Fabulous time, fabulous memories, fabulous photos.

Mount Washington - Pittsburgh

Well I have decided what to give as Christmas gifts this coming year. Yes, most of you are asking why I am thinking about Christmas this early in the year for but as you will come to learn if you pay attention is that I am a planner. I am constantly thinking ahead of what is to come and preparing. Enough about me though. Back to my point. I decided to create calendars with 12 of my favorite photos to hand out as gifts. It will be personal and come from my heart. I am starting in downtown Pittsburgh. I need some photos of our winter months and where better to capture than on top of Pittsburgh on Mount Washington. I was able to capture one in particular that made me smile. It is one that even stood out for my Designer. The photo depicts the barren, cold, dismal look of the landscape with a bright and cheery red incline car popping out of that bleakness. I think I will display this particular on my Website for all to enjoy.
